IDENTIFICATION
We require two forms of identification, one of which MUST be your valid MN Drivers License or Minnesota Identification Card, (except on vehicle rentals).

Library cards, checkbooks or department store credit cards are not acceptable forms of identification.

 

VEHICLE RENTALS

J&F Reddy Rents (Saint Louis Park) requires a valid US Drivers License, Major Credit Card, and Proof of Insurance on all vehicle rentals.  No Debit Cards are accepted on vehicle rentals.

 

Hiawatha Reddy Rents (Minneapolis) requires a Minnesota Drivers License and a Major Credit Card for vehicle rentals.  Debit cards are accepted but the deposit and rental are charged immediately and the deposit is credited back at the end of the rental.  It can take your bank up to two weeks to put it back in your account.

 

RATES
We sell time and charge for all time out (including weekends and holidays), not for the time used. Your prompt return saves you money.  Our prices on this web site are sometimes incorrect.  The price you are quoted on the phone or in person is the actual price.

 

DEPOSITS
We take deposits on ALL rentals. We accept cash, local checks, and several major credit cards. (NO cash deposit on vehicle rentals). Some tool rentals require a check or credit card for deposit. Please call ahead.

 

SALES TAX
All rentals are subject to sales tax. If you are a tax-exempt organization, an Exemption Certificate must be filled out for state verification.

 

COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS
Please send your driver with a Driver's License, a list of items to be picked up, and any other information we may need (P.O. Number, Job address, etc.)

 

OVERNIGHT RATES
(Except for trucks and trailers), overnight rates are as follows:

Mon. - Fri. 5:00 PM  to 8:30 AM  the following morning
Sat. 4:00 PM to Sun. 11:00 AM

Sun. 1:00pm to Mon. 8:30am
You are charged the minimum rental rate. (3hr rate on Lawn & Garden)

 

Ucart Concrete - To Haul ¾ or one yard of concrete requires a F150, or equivalent full size ½ ton or larger vehicle with a 2” hitch ball.

 

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE WAIVER
We offer an 8% optional accidental damage waiver (this is not insurance) on all items (except vehicles). This covers all claims except loss, theft, or abuse.
