While the drill is rated to cut up to a 6" hole, the manufacturer suggests to hand drill only up to 3-1/4". We have a different drill with a stand that can accommodate larger bits.
This rents with a hand holding adapter, 2 wrenches (32 and 41mm), a water hose adapter, and 2 bit adapters - one for dry bits, and a second for wet bits (1/2" and 1-1/4").
